Bonnie has been driven by the rhythm of the drum since she was a young girl, loving all styles of music and getting her first drum set when she was 11 years old. Drumming and singing in the school band and choir built her confidence, sense of passion and self esteem. As a young adult, she played in the music club scene and continues to perform professionally in classic rock and R& B bands.
As a former Child & Youth Counselor working with children and youth who struggle socially, emotionally and behaviorally, Bonnie used the hand drum to reach the hearts and souls of many. She continues to facilitate Divine Drumming Programs in her private practice, offering drum circles, therapeutic drumming courses and retreats and knows that the drum is responsible for her own healing and true sense of passion for life.
Drum circles create a real sense of unity and community, where everyone feels comfortable and connected. Bonnie sees drumming as a creative, relaxing and playful way to connect to a deeper sense of self. This meditative practice of drumming takes you to a heightened state of awareness and clarity, where you can connect with your higher self. Drumming is a great way to clear energy blocks and release negative energy and emotions that we can hold on to. Visualizations and intuitive messages flow in these inspiring circles. Laughing is one of the side effects of drumming and drum fever is contagious. You will want more!
You can book your private drum circle in your home and Bonnie will come to you with her drums and facilitate a circle. Birthday parties for adults and kids are very popular. You can celebrate just about anything through the drum, so use your imagination and plan your Divine Drumming party soon.
